Music
LESSONS
At our studio, we are very student-led! We believe that students should primarily play songs that they love! We curate lesson plans to suit each individual student’s needs. Students and teachers work together to make “fun” song selections that will be fun, challenging, and rewarding. These pieces are long-term goals and are often performed at end-of-term recitals.
In addition, we also work out of method books for young students, aiming to complete a new song every 1-2 weeks. These books progressively introduce new musical notes/concepts. Theory, scales and technique are supplemented to reinforce musical elements found in these songs. We are most interested in fostering each student’s love of music and keeping them engaged.
