Help secure a future for the arts at Old Confidence Lodge
We’re at a critical moment here at Old Confidence Lodge, and we need YOUR help to keep the arts alive and thriving in our community.
Since reopening in summer 2024, we’ve hosted 12 live music shows, 10 comedians, 2 youth productions, and much more. And we’ve got big plans for 2025 with even more exciting events on the horizon!
But, here’s the reality: despite the Lodge being in near-continuous use for 100 years, zoning changes required us to bring the building into compliance with modern building codes before reopening the doors. This led to unexpected and substantial renovations, including the addition of several new washrooms, enhanced fireproofing, and accessibility improvements. We welcome these improvements, but we must immediately reduce our debt to build a solid financial foundation for the future.
To ensure our sustainability, we’ve launched our “Save Me a Seat” campaign with the goal of raising $40,000. Your donation directly supports performances, programs, and local events in our community, and entitles you to a host of donor benefits, including promotional opportunities, VIP tickets, and other exclusive perks.
